Building the city
Generating streets, traffic and the people who live here…
THE STREETS
Servers live · city running Doors open in 3 days

A shared-world crime empire

Take the streets.
Build an empire.

Nine districts, living traffic, and a police force that remembers your face. Every player spawns into the same city — same seed, same clock, same streets — so the corner you take tonight is already someone else's problem by morning.

    01 / THE CITY

    By the numbers

The city is already built and ticking on the same clock it will use on day one. These are its real dimensions — not targets.

    02 / LAUNCH PLAN

    Three days out

The city is finished — what is left is the boring, load-bearing part: the final pass on the netcode and the economy. Here is exactly what happens between now and the doors opening.

    Today

    Systems freeze

The world seed, the district layout and the map are locked. The city in the trailer is the city that ships.

    -2 Tomorrow

    Economy tuning

Wash rates, supply prices and payouts get their last pass against real play-session data, so day one is not a gold rush.

    -1 Day before

Stress test, then clear test data

Everyone who reserved gets pulled into an open stress test. The test ledger is then wiped and your reservations are loaded in.

    0 Launch day

    Doors open

The gate lifts on . Your name, coins, upgrades and reserved turf are waiting on your account.

    03 / SYSTEMS

    Built to be lived in

Not a menu of minigames — one continuous simulation where the economy, the police and the streets all read from the same state.

    Authoritative accounts

Your name, level, take-downs and best score live on the server. Nobody can edit their own rap sheet from the console.

    Real PvP

Players share the map, the clock and the seed. Hit someone in range and the server arbitrates it — no client can claim a kill it didn't earn.

    Deterministic city

Every block, prop, traffic lane and rooftop is generated from one shared seed, so two players standing on the same corner see the same corner.

    Heat & police AI

Wanted stars escalate through patrols, cruisers and air support. Lay low, change your look, or pay the fine — your call.

    Empire economy

A deterministic integer ledger: laundromats, properties, crews, supply runs, front businesses and a wash rate that bites.

    Grow it yourself

Buy a warehouse or a house, kit it out with beds and lights, and plant. Or rent a room from a character and cut them in on every harvest. Bag the product, press it, sell it.

    A phone that works

Dealers ring you to order supply. Call in favours from people you've befriended, and add other players by name — the ones online glint in your book.

    Weather that matters

Rain cuts your grip and pulls the crowd under the awnings. Storms ground aircraft, flood the low crossings — and pay for the jobs finished in the worst of it.

    An original score

A built-from-scratch soundtrack and positional sound: engines, sirens and street noise panned to where they actually are, not a loop pasted over the top.

    Your save, kept

Progress banks between sessions, and the city keeps ticking for up to 72 hours while you're away — come back to the interest, not an empty street.

    Runs anywhere

Hand-written WebGL when your device can take it, a 2D canvas fallback when it can't. No install, no download.

    Reserve with Solana

Connect a wallet and book coins and founder upgrades before the doors open. Your reservations live on your account, not in your browser, and are waiting on day one.

    04 / DISTRICTS

    Nine districts, one clock

The Blocks, the Neon District, Old Harbor, Iron Docks, Highline, the Industrial Belt, Midtown, the Financial Core and the Outskirts. Day and night turn on a shared clock every 48 minutes, so dusk lands on every player at the same second — and the crews that work after dark know it.

    District control

Hold turf and the local economy pays you a cut. Lose it and someone else collects.

    Live kill feed

Every take-down in the city is broadcast as it happens. Build a name, or become a cautionary tale.

    World chat

One channel, everyone listening. Coordinate a meet, sell a rumour, or start something.

    Outside the grid

Lakes, a river, a coast road and six islands out past the harbour — and a boat at the marina to reach them.

The Streets' city map — nine districts, their crews, the satellite settlements and the island world around them
The city map, rendered from the game's own geometry — nine districts, who holds them, the settlements out in the fields, and the six islands past the harbour.
    05 / RANKED

    Climb the board

Take-downs and net worth feed a city-wide leaderboard that resets on nothing and never sleeps. The top twenty are read straight off the server every time you open the board — the same list for everyone, whether you played solo or in the shared city.

    Two columns that matter

Take-downs rank nerve; net worth ranks patience. Both are on the board, so a quiet operator can out-hold a loud one.

    Never wiped

No seasonal reset and no decay. What you banked stays banked, and the ladder keeps a permanent record of everyone who climbed it.

    City-wide boardloading…
Read straight off the server — every row is a real account, ranked by take-downs then net worth. Nobody can hand-edit a rap sheet from the console.
      06 / QUESTIONS

      The short answers

Everything people actually ask before they make an account.

No. The city is free to enter and runs entirely in your browser — no install, no launcher, no download. Coin packs and founder upgrades are optional reservations for people who want a head start on day one; the game is never gated on them.
Your account (an email address and a public player name), your level, your take-downs, your best banked score, any reserved coins and any founder upgrades. All of it is held on the authoritative server against your account — not in your browser — so it is waiting for you the moment the doors open.
Because your email is the account — it is how you sign back in on any device, and it is the salt your password is hashed with, so the server never stores a password it could leak. It is never shown to other players: the leaderboard, chat and kill feed show your player name, which you pick, and nothing else.
If you are reading this in a browser from the last few years, almost certainly. The game ships two renderers: a hand-written WebGL path for devices that can take it, and a 2D canvas fallback for the ones that cannot. You can drop the graphics ladder down a rung at any time from the settings panel.
Every connected visitor is seated in the same world, on the same seed, on the same clock — so a take-down you pull tonight lands on someone else's screen while it is happening. The server sequences player-to-player events and arbitrates combat range, so nobody can claim a kill they did not earn.
Neither. There is no wagering of any kind. During pre-launch you can optionally connect a Solana devnet wallet to sign a reservation — that is test-network only, no mainnet funds are involved, and the developers never hold a key of yours.
Your progress banks and the city keeps ticking for up to 72 hours while you are away, so you come back to interest and a district that moved on — not an empty street. There is no seasonal reset and no decay on the leaderboard.
Because the last pass on the netcode and the economy is what decides whether day one is fun or a gold rush, and that pass is not something you can do with the doors open. The city itself is already built and running; see the launch plan above for exactly what happens on each of the three days.

Three days until the doors open.

      THE STREETS

A shared-world crime sandbox that runs in your browser. One city, one seed, one clock — and everyone in it.

      DevHux - DevBros

THE STREETS is a fictional crime sandbox. All substances, compounds and "cleaning" mechanics are invented game systems — no real-world chemistry or financial methodology is represented, and nothing here is advice.
Not a gambling product, and there is no wagering of any kind. During pre-launch you can optionally connect a Solana devnet wallet to reserve in-game coins and founder upgrades; the game is never gated on it, no mainnet funds are involved, and the developers hold no key of yours. Accounts are an email address, a player name and a password, and a session token is kept in your browser.
The city itself is closed until launch. Reservations are recorded against your account and honoured when the doors open.

      Create your account

Your email signs you in and is never shown to anyone. Your player name is the one that is public on the leaderboard and kill feed, and your password is hashed before it ever leaves this page.
